Social bookmarking is a method that Internet users employ to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources.



Assignments:
1. Create your own Delicious account.
2. Add 10 bookmarks to your Delicious account.
3. Create 5 tags to use in your Delicious account.
4. Follow 2 people on Delicious.
2. Comment on this post. Include your thoughts about how you might use Delicious (or other social bookmarking sites) in your classroom, what the benefits are of using social bookmarking as an educator, something you learned in class today, or thoughts about an article you have read about social bookmarking.

Introduction to Web 2.0  The trend in the use of technology and Web sites that aims to enhance information sharing, creativity, and most notably, collaboration among users. (Source: Wikipedia)  Web 2.0 consists of 21st Century teaching and learning, social networking, and open (free) software.
